The Store is DetailAhead’s built-in public booking page — a mini-website for your business where customers browse your services, pick a time slot, and submit their details without you lifting a finger. Every submission lands in your New Entries inbox, where you review it and convert it into an order. Nothing goes live until you’re ready, and you control every detail of how the page looks and what it asks.

How new bookings flow

When a customer submits a booking through your Store page, it doesn’t automatically become an order. Instead it arrives in New Entries, giving you a chance to review the request before committing to it.
1

Customer submits a booking

The customer visits your Store page, selects a service, chooses a date and time, fills in their details and any custom questions, then hits submit.
2

Booking appears in New Entries

The submission lands in New Entries in your sidebar. You’ll see the customer’s name, phone, email, vehicle, the service they requested, their preferred date and time, and any answers to your custom questions.
3

Review and act

Check the details. If everything looks good, click Convert to customer + order — DetailAhead creates a customer record (or links to an existing one if the email already exists) and turns the submission into an order. If the booking isn’t suitable, click Dismiss to archive it.
If you enable Confirm bookings automatically in Store → Booking questions, accepted time slots are confirmed instantly without requiring a manual review step in New Entries. New Entries is still used for any bookings that come in without a pre-selected slot.

Setting up your Store page

1

Open Store in the sidebar

Click Store in the left sidebar. You’ll land on the Page & branding panel.
2

Toggle Draft → Published when you're ready

At the top of the page you’ll see a status bar showing Draft — not publicly reachable. Once you’ve finished setting everything up, flip the Published toggle to make your booking page live. You can always switch it back to Draft.
3

Fill in Page & branding

Complete the fields that shape how your page looks and feels:

Business name shown

The trading name displayed at the top of your booking page — for example, Coastline Mobile Detailing.

Page address

Your unique URL slug (e.g. coastline-detailing), which forms your full booking page address. Keep it short and recognisable.

Logo URL

Paste in a direct link to your logo image. Landscape or square works best. Leave it blank to use your business name as text instead.

Headline

The large text your customers read first — something like Book Online or Book Your Detail Today.

Sub-heading

A short supporting line beneath the headline, such as Choose a service below and select a time that suits you.

Accent colour

A hex code (e.g. #1D4ED8) that colours your call-to-action buttons and highlights. Match it to your brand.
You can also add up to three reassurance points — short ticked statements that appear under your headline to build customer confidence (e.g. Fully insured, 5-star rated, No hidden charges).Add your contact email and contact phone so customers can reach you if they have questions before booking.Toggle Show prices on the page on or off depending on whether you want prices displayed publicly.
4

Set up service categories

Categories become filter tabs on your booking page, letting customers quickly find what they need. Click + Add category to add each one (e.g. Paint Protection, Interior, Exterior). Customers always get an All tab automatically.
5

Add your services

Navigate to the Services tab and click + Add service. Fill in the details for each service you want to offer:Toggle Show on the booking page off to hide a service temporarily without deleting it.
6

Configure booking questions

Switch to the Booking questions tab to control the time-slot experience and add custom questions.Under Choosing a time, enable the time-selector toggle to let customers pick a real slot from your live availability. Configure how far apart slots are spaced, how many jobs you can take at once, and how far ahead customers can book.Under Booking questions, click + Add question to collect extra information alongside name, phone, and email (which are always collected). You can ask for text, numbers, a date, a yes/no answer, or a pick-from-a-list selection. Scope each question to specific services if it’s not relevant to everything you offer.
Set your opening hours in Settings → Opening hours before you publish. The booking calendar builds your available slots from those hours, minus anything already booked and any time you’ve blocked on the Calendar. Days you’re closed are greyed out automatically so customers can’t pick them.
The booking form always collects customer name, phone, and email. Any extra questions you add in the Booking questions tab are the additions on top of that. Answers arrive alongside the booking in New Entries.

Reviewing New Entries

Open New Entries in the sidebar whenever you get a notification of a new submission. Each card shows:
  • Customer name, phone, and email
  • Vehicle details and number of cars
  • Service requested
  • Preferred date and time
  • Submission timestamp
  • Answers to any custom questions (expandable)
  • A Matches [name] flag if DetailAhead detects the email matches an existing customer
Click Convert to customer + order to accept the booking and pull it into Orders. Click Dismiss to decline it and archive the entry. Use the status tabs at the top to filter between New, Converted, and Dismissed entries.
