Connecting Google Reviews
To pull in your Google reviews automatically, you need an active Google Business Profile linked to your detailing business.1
Go to the Reviews page
Click Reviews in the left sidebar.
2
Click Connect Google
In the Connected locations card, click Connect Google. DetailAhead will redirect you to Google’s OAuth consent screen.
3
Sign in and authorise
Sign in with the Google account that manages your Google Business Profile and grant the requested permissions. DetailAhead only reads your review data — it does not post on your behalf.
4
Select your location
Once connected, your Google Business Profile location appears in the Connected locations list. Use the toggle next to it to enable syncing. If you manage multiple locations, enable each one individually.
Google Reviews sync requires an active Growth or Team plan. If you’re on the Starter plan, you can still log reviews manually by adding them directly in the reviews list.
Syncing reviews
Once your Google location is connected and syncing is enabled, DetailAhead pulls in your latest reviews automatically on a regular schedule. Each review is de-duplicated, so you won’t see the same review appear twice. The Last synced timestamp next to each location in the Connected locations card tells you when the most recent sync ran. If the sync encounters an error — for example, your Google connection has expired — an error message appears next to the affected location. Click Connect Google again to re-authorise.Sending review requests
