Yes — every plan comes with a 14-day free trial and no credit card is required to start. During the trial you get full access to all features, so you can explore the entire platform before committing to a subscription.

Yes. DetailAhead is a responsive web app, so it works in any modern mobile browser — no app store download required. Open your browser, navigate to your dashboard URL, and the layout adjusts automatically to fit your screen. For the best experience, add DetailAhead to your home screen so it launches like a native app.
When you publish your Store page, DetailAhead generates a unique public URL you can share with customers — add it to your website, Instagram bio, or Google Business Profile. Customers visit that URL, choose a service, pick an available time slot, and submit the form. Each submission lands directly in your New Entries inbox, where you can review the details and promote the request to a full order with one click.
No — the Solo plan is designed for a single user. To bring on staff, you need to upgrade:
  • Growth — up to 5 staff members
  • Team — unlimited team members and roles
Upgrade any time from Settings → Billing & subscription.
No. DetailAhead never stores credit card numbers or other raw payment data. All payment processing is handled by Stripe, and DetailAhead only records the outcome — for example, that an order was paid and the amount collected. Your customers’ card details go directly to Stripe and never pass through or sit in the DetailAhead database.
Your data remains fully accessible until the end of your current billing period. Once that period ends and your subscription lapses, your account moves into a read-only state.
Export your customer and order data before your billing period ends to make sure you have a local copy. Go to the relevant section (Customers, Orders, Finances) and use the export option while your account is still active.
Automations let DetailAhead send SMS or email messages on your behalf, triggered by events in your workflow — without you having to lift a finger. Available triggers include:
  • Booking received — send a confirmation to the customer the moment they book
  • Job completed — follow up with a thank-you or review request after a job is marked done
  • Customer lapsed — send a win-back message when a customer hasn’t returned in a set number of days
  • Low stock — alert yourself when an inventory item dips below its reorder threshold
Enable and configure automations from the Automation section in the sidebar. Each automation can be toggled on or off independently, and you choose whether to send via SMS, email, or both.
Yes — Google Review tracking is available on the Growth and Team plans. To set it up, go to the Reviews section in the sidebar, authenticate your Google Business Profile, and DetailAhead will start pulling in your review data so you can monitor and respond without leaving the platform.
Very. All data is stored in a secure cloud database with encryption at rest and in transit. On top of that, customer personally identifiable information — names, phone numbers, email addresses, home addresses, and notes — is encrypted automatically before it is stored, so the database only ever holds unreadable ciphertext. For a full breakdown of how DetailAhead protects your data, see the Data Security page.
New Entries is the inbox where all booking requests submitted through your public Store page arrive. Each entry shows the customer’s chosen service, preferred time, and any answers to your custom booking questions. From there you can review the details and either promote the entry to a full order or decline it. New Entries keeps your confirmed orders clean and separate from unreviewed requests.
Yes — you can upgrade or downgrade at any time from Settings → Billing & subscription. Upgrades take effect immediately and you gain access to the new features right away. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle, so you keep your current plan’s features until then.
